If It’s Good Enough for Brad Pitt...

As in many emerging markets, property prices in Egypt are still quite low. They won’t stay that way for long, but for the time being they are a bargain. Our latest development, The Red Sea Beach and Golf Resort in Sahl Hasheesh, is exceptionally good value, particularly since it adjoins the 5-Star Pyramisa hotel. Studios (and they are large as Studios go) start at just over £52,000. Even a large 3-bedroom penthouse can be had for less than £120,000.

Contrast this with Serrenia, a few miles down the coast, where Brad Pitt and other super wealthy people have reserved huge properties – described in the brochure as ‘palaces’ – for sums up to £15 million. Yes that’s pounds; not Euros or dollars.

Serrenia will shortly have a marina for super yachts. Have you noticed that everything seems to be super round here? Designed by Sir Norman Foster’s architectural practice, famous for the new Wembley stadium, the whole thing is breathtaking.

Closer to home (at least financially), the Sahl Hasheesh resort is a paradise in every way. The sun shines 365 days a year; the coldest month is January when it averages 20°C; the hottest month is August but is no hotter than the Mediterranean; you can play golf twelve months a year, though it’s wisest to start early and finish before midday in the peak summer months. All this is possible because of the low humidity and light breezes coming off the Red Sea.

Around our development, the crystal clear waters, teeming marine life (more than 1,000 species) and stunning coral reefs lead aficionados to describe it as the best place in the world for diving. With appropriate training and supervision, you can even go in for technical diving; staying down much longer and at far greater depths. For the less adventurous, there are supervised sessions of swimming with dolphins – in the wild, not in a pool.

Of course, if world-class golf, diving and dolphins don’t appeal, there are always the glorious white sandy beaches where you can lie and chill. Well, when I say ‘chill’ I mean in a mental rather than physical sense.

We shall be organising inspection flights very soon, so why not have a look?

Please talk to Sarah, David or Nigel at the office – 0121 609 7095. They’ll be delighted to help.
